Dallas Plastic Surgeon Named “Super Doctor”

Published on July 3, 2013 by

Dallas, Texas, November 9, 2006 – Dr. H. Steve Byrd, one of the nations leading plastic surgeons, has been honored by Texas Monthly Magazine as one of their select “Super Doctors” in the state of Texas. This is not a new honor for Dr. Byrd, but one he cherishes, as it is awarded by his peers. The selection is made from more than 40,000 ballots sent out to Texas Doctors, nurse practitioners and nurse managers. They are asked, “If you or a loved one needed medical care, which doctor would you choose?” The intent is to discourage votes based on reputation and truly identify the most highly regarded doctors in the State.

It is obvious from this selection that Dr. Byrd’s attitude of “compassionate care before, during and after surgery” transfers to his office staff. As one of the nation’s leading plastic surgeons, he has a thriving practice in the Dallas Metroplex area that attracts patients from all over the United States. He also just returned from a mission trip in Guatemala where the surgical team performed surgery on more than 40 children with significant cleft palate and other cranio-facial deformities.

Dr. Byrd stays on the cutting edge in the plastic surgery field by becoming a pioneer in developing ground-breaking techniques such as the minimally invasive facelift. This new technique avoids many of the risks associated with traditional facelifts. Some of his latest work also includes publications on cleft lip and cleft palate as well as advancing innovative new ideas in his chapters on the trends in rhinoplasty surgery.
